Funeral services for George Linn, 84, will be held at the Rochester Methodist church at 2 p.m. Saturday with Gordon Smith officiating. Burial will be in the West Bethel cemetery south of Rochester. Members of the Rochester Masonic lodge will be pallbearers. Sheets and Dahn funeral home is in charge.

Mr. Linn died March 28 in University hospital at Iowa City.

The son of John Cleveland and Mary Carney Linn, he was born August 31, in Iowa township and spent his life in Cedar county where he was a farmer and carpenter.

He is survived by a son, Dewey Linn, Costa Mesa, Calif., and several nieces and nephews, including Harlan Reeder and Mrs. Clarence Streets of Tipton. His wife preceded him in death.
