Funeral services for Carl Clelland Marker, 35, were held Feb. 11 at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home with the Rev. George Gallaher in charge. Burial was in Shawver cemetery near Cedar Bluff.

He died Feb. 9 in Tipton after a life-long illness.

The son of Orlonzo and Katherine Frederick Marker, he was born in Buchanan. When he was 9 months old he became ill. He never fully recovered from this illness and required constant care for the rest of his life.

He was preceded in death by his father July 21, 1951, his mother, Nov. 9, 1959 and 2 sisters, Dorothy, who died at the age of 9 and Dorothy in infancy.
