Edward Regennitter, 79, of Wilton Junction, a retired farmer, died Jan. 11 at the home of a daughter at Olin.

He was born Sept. 7, 1881 at Bennett, the son of Barnhart and Dora Schmidt Regennitter.

Mr. Regennitter married Cora Wilkerson March 9, 1904 at Tipton. Their home had been made in Wilton Junction for many years.

Surviving are a son, Ernest R. Regennitter, Tipton; 3 daughters, Mrs. Ray Fagg, Herrick, Ill., Mrs. Tom Gill, Olin, and Mrs. Earl Schroeder, Bettendorf; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
