Mrs. Anna E. Savage, 73, a longtime resident of West Branch, died Jan. 16 at a Tipton nursing home after a brief illness.

Born July 1, 1887, in Cedar Rapids, she was a daughter of John and Kathryn Kintz. She was married at Cedar Rapids to Edward M. Savage, Sept. 9, 1908.

Mrs. Savage was a member of the Rebekah lodge at Iowa City.

Survivors include her husband, 6 brothers, Harry, Roy and Ed Kintz, all of West Branch; Charles Kintz, Elk Horn; John Kintz, Burbank, Calif.; William Kintz, Racine, Wis., and one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Morford, Racine, Wis.

Funeral services were Jan. 18 at West Branch with the Rev. Clifford Wolfe, minister of the Friends church, officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.
