Miss Myrtle Weaver, 72, was found dead at her home in Wilton Junction Dec. 22.

Dr. Earl E. Peters, Muscatine county coroner, ruled Miss Weaver had taken her own life by hanging.

A lifelong resident of the Wilton Junction community and former rural school teacher, Miss Weaver was born in Cedar county Nov. 1, 1888, the daughter of John and Margaret Kiser Weaver.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Miss Weaver was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services were Dec. 24 at Gill Memorial Home, Wilton Junction. The Rev. Robert Farr of the Methodist church officiated. Burial was in the Sharon cemetery north of Wilton Junction.
