Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Werling were held Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 10:30 a.m. in Alexandria, Minn., and at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian church in Elbow Lake, Minn.

Elizabeth Werling was born March 20, 1882, at Pomeroy, Ohio, and grew to womanhood in that Ohio community. She was married to Fred J. Werling at Chester, Ohio, Jan. 21, 1902. After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Werling farmed at Tipton, Kinglsey and Riceville. Mr. Werling died Dec. 27, 1958, and for the last 2 years, she had made her home with her daughters in Alexandria, Minn.

Surviving are a son, Floyd, White Bear Lake, Minn.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Laurence Anderson and Mrs. Jess Peacock, Alexandria; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson and several brothers and sisters.

W. V. Werling, Mrs. George Rice and Richard Eiselstein attended the services.
