Funeral services for Wendy Sue Thomson, 4, daughter of Ronald and Shirley Thomson of Lisbon, were held at the First Presbyterian church in Mt. Vernon Nov. 28. The Rev. Richard N. Major, pastor of the church, was in charge. Burial was in Red Oak cemetery north of Tipton. James Winfield was organist and Mrs. Major soloist.

Wendy died Nov. 26 at University hospital in Iowa City of a lingering illness.

She was born March 31, 1956, at DeWitt and was baptized July 22, 1956, at Red Oak Grove Presbyterian church.

She is survived by her parents, a sister, Diane Kay; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thomson, Tipton; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claud Kimberling, Tipton, 7 aunts, 6 uncles and 20 cousins.
