Miss Maggie Preston died at the home of her parents, near Stanwood, Sunday afternoon about three o'clock, after an illness extending over most of the winter, from lung troubles. She was a bright, intelligent young lady, aged about 18 years, and will be greatly missed in the social circles of Stanwood. The funeral occurred Tuesday afternoon at that place, Rev. Truesdale officiating, assisted by Rev. Gould; the audience completely filling the house.
