William Boettcher, 76, of Brooklands, Manitoba, Canada, died Nov. 11 at his home. He went to Canada in 1925 from Bennett, and settled in Rosser, Man., where he farmed until his retirement in 1957. He had lived in Brooklands since 1947.

His wife, Annie, died in 1950 and a son, Harold, died in 1943. Surviving are a daughter, Blanche; 3 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Emma of Winnipeg and Mary of Tipton, and 2 brothers, George and Fred of Tipton.

Funeral services were held Nov. 15 with Rev. David Clink officiating. Burial was in Brookside cemetery.
