Funeral services for Frank J. Suchomel, 69, were held Monday in Solon and at St. Bridget's church in the Nolan settlement. The Rev. P. J. Lavey was in charge. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery in Iowa City.

Mr. Suchomel died Friday in a Cedar Rapids hospital after a long illness.

He was born Sept. 13, 1891, at Cedar Bluff and was married to Emma Ciha Aug. 16, 1916.

He farmed in the Cedar Bluff vicinity all his life. He was a member of the Moose lodge at Tipton.

Survivors include the widow; 3 daughters, Mrs. Joseph Moore, Encino, Calif.; Mrs. Lee Fishback, Denver, Colo.; and Mildred, Cedar Bluff; 5 sons, LaVerne, Tipton; Bernard, Solon; Maynard, Loveland, Colo.; and Dale and Francis, both of Cedar Bluff; 11 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. George Chalupsky and Mrs. Anna Boxa, both of Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Raymond Benda, Iowa City; and 2 brothers, Jerry, Stanwood, and Amos, Cedar Bluff.

He was preceded in death by a son.
