Memorial services for Mrs. Louella E. Pilkington, 86, were held in the Dye Funeral Home in Tipton, Nov. 2, with the Rev. A. C. Long officiating. Burial was in Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Pilkington died Oct. 31 at the Woode Nursing Home after many years of frail health. Louella Eves was born in Millville, Pa. Sept. 7, 1874, the daughter of Ezra and Phoebe Mather Eves. The family later moved to Springdale, where March 25, 1896, she was married to Henry W. Hamiel. They farmed south of Tipton until shortly before his death in 1919. She was later married to Alfred Pilkington who also preceded her in death, as did a brother and sister

Her only son, Marion C. Hamiel, died in 1954. Survivors include 4 grandchildren, Norman and Keith Hamiel of Tipton, Mrs. Eleanor Van Nostrand of Rolfe, Ia., Mrs. Carol Berrier of Arlington Heights, Ill., and 7 great-grandchildren.
