Mrs. Charles H. Obye, a former resident of Tipton, died Saturday at Iowa Methodist hospital in Des Moines, following a long illness.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the West Des Moines Methodist church, with burial in the Rest Haven cemetery.

Mr. Obye was Cedar county agent for a number of years, and during the time the family lived in Tipton, Mrs. Obye was a member of chapter DY, P.E.O., Searchlight club and Child Conservation league.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Pauline, New Jersey; and two sons, Charles, Sioux City and Kenneth, Greenville, Miss.
