Morris Hansen, 78, died suddenly at his home in West Branch Oct. 4.

He was born at Williamsburg, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hansen. He was married to the former Lulu Fitzpatrick June 26, 1934.

Survivors are his widow, 2 sisters, Sister Eustolia, Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Charles Rowe, Long Beach, Calif., and one brother, William, Detroit. Also surviving are 2 stepchildren, Jim, Amarillo, Texas, and Sister Mary Maurine, Cedar Rapids.

Funeral services were Oct. 6 in West Branch at St. Joseph's church with burial in Iowa City.
