Mrs. Alvin S. Ruby, 65, a native of Tipton, died at Sheldon Thursday following a heart attack.

Born in Tipton, she went to Sheldon with her parents in 1900. She and her husband farmed near Sheldon until they retired last spring.

Survivors include nine sons and daughters, 26 grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.
