Funeral services for Herbert Neal Herr, 71, life resident of Cedar county, were held Sunday at the Griffith funeral home in Wilton Junction. The Rev. Robert Dodder, pastor of the Methodist church officiated and burial was in Oakdale cemetery. Herr died at 9:05 p.m. Friday at the Wilton Nursing Home.

Mr. Herr was born March 2, 1885 in Cedar county where he married Catharine King, Nov. 28, 1906.

He was a member of Wilton Junction Methodist church and was a charter member of Cedar County Farm Bureau. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving are the wife; one son, King G., Dubuque; a sister, Mrs. Archie Engle, Colfax, and three grandchildren.
