Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Durant chapel for Edward Klahn, 82, resident of Durant for the past 15 years, who died Tuesday at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, after a long illness. Burial will be at the Fairmount cemetery, Davenport.

Mr. Klahn was born Dec. 1, 1874, in Scott county. He was married to Dorothea Paustain Oct. 25, 1898, at Davenport.

Surviving are two sons, Elmer Klahn, Rock Point, Long Island, N.Y., and Ralph Klahn, Durant; three daughters, Mrs. Henry Ormsby, Stanwood; Mrs. Dean Ellsworth, Radcliffe, and Mrs. Ronald Greenwall, Solon; one brother, George, Davenport; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Harmsen, Tipton, and Mrs. Frank Schneckloth and Ella Klahn of Durant, and 10 grand children.
