Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Mixell, 79, who died at 3 a.m. Tuesday at her home, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sheets and Dahn funeral home, Tipton. Burial will be in Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Her husband, William Mixell, is the only survivor.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Stouffer Mixell, 79, were held March 15 in the Sheets and Dahn funeral home in Tipton. Elder U. J. Fike officiated. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.

She died at her home in Tipton March 13. Death was due to a heart ailment.

Mary Stouffer Mixell was born April 2, 1876, in Franklin county, Penn., the third of a family of five born to Mr. and Mrs. John Stouffer. The family moved to St. Joseph, Mo., making their home there until the father and two children died. The mother took the remaining family back to Pennsylvania where Mary grew to maturity.

She was married to William Mixell Dec. 25, 1894 at Mt. Tabor church in Franklin county, Penn. Last Christmas day they celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary.

They came to Cedar county in the fall of 1900 and have since lived in this area.

She is survived by her husband and three nieces. The Mixells also took into their home two girls and two boys, William and Addie McCausland, now dead, and Albert and Juanita Schoonover (Mrs. Raymond Vitense).
