Funeral services for John Martin May Sr., 50, were held Friday at Wilton Junction. The Rev. P. M. Roberts officiated. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery at Wilton Junction.

May died at his home Feb. 1, after a lengthy illness.

May was the son of Henry and Lillian Hartley May. He was born March 29, 1905 and was married in Kansas City to Lulu Uhl, Sept. 23, 1931 in Beverly Hills, Calif. He was an inspector of machinery for the J. I. Case Co. in Bettendorf.

He is survived by his wife, one son, John of Wilton Junction; a daughter, Melody of Muscatine; two brothers, Francis of Bowling Green, Mo., and Charles of Evansville, Ind.
