Funeral services were held Sunday in Wilton Junction for Ferd Bunge, 82, life long resident of the Wilton Junction community, who died at 10:55 p.m. Thursday at his home, following a one-week illness. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Mr. Bunge was born Nov. 16, 1873, at Eldridge, the son of August and Christina Cristian Bunge. His marriage to Lizzie Schafer took place at Davenport. He was a member of Zion Lutheran church. Mr. Bunge was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Edgar LaRose of Tipton; Mrs. Earl Donohue of Iowa City, and Mrs. Kenneth Herr and Elma Bunge of Wilton; three sisters, Mrs. Anthony Krebs of Hartley; Mrs. Otto Shubert of Monterey, Minn., and Mrs. Frank Kook, of Wilton Junction, and four grandchildren.
