Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Shay, 89, a former resident of Lowden, were held Monday at Galesburg, Ill. Mrs. Shay died Jan. 27.

Mrs. Shay, the former Anna Horstmann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Horstmann of Lowden, was born Dec. 13, 1866 in Davenport. She moved to Lowden with her parents. She is survived by two sons.

Mr. and Mrs. Julius Meier and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Russ attended the funeral.
