Stanwood, Ia., March 7--H. T. Day was heard to call from his barn where he was doing chores Saturday. Neighbors ran to his help and found him very sick. He was carried to the house and a doctor was summoned but he passed away in a very few minutes. He suffered a previous stroke last summer. He has lived here since 1885. He leaves a wife and three daughters, Mrs. John ??ong, Minnesota; Mrs. Josephine LaPlant, Des Moines and Mrs. Blanche Cole who is attending school at Cedar Falls. At this writing funeral arrangements have not been made.
