Clarence E. Secrest, 69, a retired rural mail carrier, died suddenly at his home in West Branch Thursday morning.

Services were Sunday with burial at West Branch.

He was born March 26, 1888, in Springville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Secrest. On Nov. 10, 1915, he was married to Bess Mosher in West Liberty. She died in April, 1945.

June 28, 1951, he was married to Blanche Foraker at Marion. He was a rural carrier in West Branch until his retirement June 1, 1956.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Don Fawcett of Pelham, N.Y., three brothers, George of Santa Monica, Calif., John, of Prescott, Ariz., and Virgil, of West Branch, three step-sons and one stepdaughter.
