George J. Angerer Jr. 46, of Redwood City, Calif., son of Mrs. Henry Angerer Sr., of Wilton Junction, was killed in a truck accident Thursday morning at Sacramento, Calif.

Angerer, who was in the trucking business, was killed as he stood at the rear of his truck stalled on the highway and was struck by another truck which came up behind him.

Funeral services were held Monday at Redwood City, with burial at the Veterans National cemetery, San Francisco, Calif.

During World War II, Angerer served four years overseas as a member of the Eighth air force. He lived at Wilton Junction prior to the war and after his discharge from service established his home at Redwood City. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife and three children and a brother, Henry A. Angerer, who resides at Davenport.
