Mrs. Asa Robinson, 74, died at her home in Mechanicsville Sept. 19 following a long illness. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Presbyterian church, with the Rev. George Gallaher in charge. Burial was in Rosehill cemetery.

The daughter of Irving and Isabell Taylor, she was born in Woodbury county July 10, 1863. She is survived by her husband; a son, Don; three grandchildren, Mrs. Joel Banks, Tipton, Judy, a freshman at Iowa State Teachers college, Cedar Falls, and Gary, at home; a brother, Rex Taylor, Mechanicsville, and three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Smith, Rapids City, S.D.; Mrs. Florence Bollenbaugh, Vinton, and Mrs. Olive Sholly, Cedar Rapids.
