James was born on June 1, 1928 and passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019.

James was a resident of Tipton, Iowa at the time of passing.

Jim attended Grinnell College where he played football, earned a degree in economics, and met the love of his life, Nyda Lea Haas.

After serving 18 months in the US Army (Virginia), Jim and Nyda moved back to Iowa where Jim took a job selling life insurance door-to-door.

A private family memorial and burial will take place at a later date.
