Graveside services for Mrs. Carrie B. Elliott of Cedar Rapids were held Saturday afternoon at Rose Hill cemetery in Mechanicsville.

Mrs. Elliott died at her home in Cedar Rapids July 24. She was born north of Mechanicsville Jan. 23, 1880. Before her marriage to Vinton Elliott of Kansas City , Mo., she taught in the Olin and Mechanicsville schools. She and Mr. Elliott lived in Kansas City for a number of years. Following his death she moved to Cedar Rapids where she was a matron of the Home for Aged Women, retiring in 1952.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Roy Williams of Olin and Mrs. Oliver Dill of Cedar Rapids, two nephews, Dr. Lawrence Williams of Maquoketa and Donald Dill of Chicago, Ill.
