Funeral services for Mrs. Ed McLain, 67, who died July 25 in University hospitals, Iowa City, were held Saturday in the Sheets & Dahn funeral home. The Rev. Howard Dukelow officiated and interment was in Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. McLain was born Oct. 18, 1889, in Cincinnati, the daughter of Frank and Margaret Purdy. She was married in June, 1916, in Davenport.

Surviving are the husband; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Rose, Springdale, Ill., and a brother, Henry Purdy of Kansas City, Kan.
