Funeral services for Louie H. Regennitter, 68, Cedar county farmer, were held Monday at Durant chapel. Burial was at Inland cemetery, near Bennett.

Regennitter took his own life by hanging sometime Thursday. The body was found in a corn crib on the Regennitter farm about 6 p.m. Friday. E. J. Wilson, deputy Cedar county coroner, said the death was suicide. No inquest was held.

Mr. Regennitter was born March 16, 1888, near Bennett, and was educated in the rural schools. He was married to Minnie Peterson Aug. 11, 1909, at Tipton.

They were engaged in farming in Scott and Cedar counties and for the past 12 years farmed at the present location, nine miles southeast of Tipton.

Surviving are his wife; four sons, Hugo L., Bennett, Vernon J. and Allen G., New Liberty, and Arnold R., of Wilton Junction; one daughter, Mrs. Frederick Mohr, Tipton; two brothers, Henry, Sutherland, and John, Davenport; one sister, Mrs. Minnie McAfee of Hampton, and nine grandchildren.

One brother preceded him in death.
