Frank Schneekloth, 78, a resident of Durant several years, died at his home May 22 after a long illness.
Services were Saturday in Durant Chapel. Burial was in Durant cemetery.
Born Oct. 15, 1878, in Cedar county, he attended rural schools and married Dora Klahn, Nov. 29, 1905, in Davenport. They farmed near Bennett 44 years, retiring and moving to Durant. They noted their golden wedding date a year-and-a-half ago.
Surviving are the wife; four sisters, Mrs. Herman Krebs, Durant, Mrs. Ernest Petersen, Sunbury, Mrs. Clara Bartscher, and Mrs. Hugo Bartscher, both of Durant; two brothers, Ferdinand, Durant, and Chris, Bennett; 26 nephews and nieces.
