Funeral services for Cornelius Lynch, 70, a former resident of Cedar county, were held Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic church. The Rev. Edward Collins officiated and burial was in St. Mary's cemetery.

Mr. Lynch died May 22 at the home of a son, Cornelius Jr., in Mason City, after a long illness.

Surviving are two sons: Edward of Cedar Rapids, and Cornelius Jr., Mason City, and one daughter, Mrs. M. E. Moes of near Tipton.
