Funeral services for Viola Selma Petersen, 69, of Durant, who was found dead in her home Nov. 10 were conducted in Davenport Nov. 14.

Born in Farmington township on November 26, 1889, the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Mary Petersen, she was educated in the Cedar county schools.

Survivors include 2 brothers, Ernest F. Petersen and Adolph F. Petersen, both of Sunbury; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Lage and Mrs. Clarence Grummer, both of Davenport and a number of nieces and nephews. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Burial was in the Durant cemetery.
