Henry Voigt, 66, Durant, died Nov. 12 of a heart attack while enroute to Bristol, Fla.

Mr. Voigt was born June 6, 1891, at Rock Island, Ill., to Claus and Anna Voigt. He had been a resident of Durant 44 years.

He served with the armed forces during World War I and was a charter member of J. L. Shryer Post 430 of the American Legion at Durant. He was a carpenter and painter.

Survivors include a brother, John Voigt, Moline, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Anna Pruess, Durant.

Funeral services for Mr. Voigt were held Nov. 16 at Durant. Burial was at Fairmount cemetery, Davenport.
