Funeral services for Daniel P. (Ted) Christian, were held Oct. 14 in Tipton and on Oct. 16 at Versailles, Ohio, where he was taken, at his request for burial.

Christian died Oct. 13 at the Woode Nursing home in Tipton after a lingering illness.

He is survived by a brother, C. S. Christian, Sidney, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Frank Lehman, Brock, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

He spent many years in the Tipton area as a farm hand, working last for John Sharpless near Rochester.
