Funeral services for Frederick R. Worrell, 65, will be held at 9:15 a.m. Friday at the Brosh Funeral home in Solon and at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget's church, Nolan settlement. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rosary is at 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Worrell died Tuesday night in Mercy hospital at Iowa City. He was born July 4, 1894 near Solon and was married to Mildred Ciha, Oct. 19, 1920. He farmed in the West Branch area for 39 years.
He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Geneva Wood, Tipton and Mrs. Maxine Stinocher, West Branch; 1 son, Alfred, West Branch; 12 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Sister Mary Monica, Charles City and Mrs. John Kessler, Solon; 3 brothers, John, Mt. Vernon, and Gilbert and George, Solon.
