Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Huesmann, 66, Durant, were Tuesday in the Durant Chapel with burial in the Durant cemetery.

Mrs. Huesmann died Saturday afternoon at her home following a brief illness.

The former Dora Wendel was born in Germany in 1892 and came to the United States when 16 years old, coming directly to Durant.

She was married to Gus Huesmann in 1917 and the couple farmed until retiring and moving to Durant 14 years ago.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Harry Knutsen, Stockton; 2 sons, Rudolph, Moscow, and Harry, Stockton; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. William Heinrich, Durant, and Mrs. Emma Bassow, Germany, and 2 brothers, Johannes and Carl, Germany.
