Funeral services for Frank Laubscher, 77, were held June 3, with the Rev. Howard Dukelow officiating. Burial was in Woodridge cemetery near Buchanan.
Casket bearers were Chalmer Keller, Lloyd Meyer, Max Nebergall, Norman Frederick, Hilbert Dice and LaVerne Wood. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist and Mr. and Mrs. Gale Maurer had charge of flowers.
Mr. Laubscher died June 1 in the Thurston nursing home in Tipton after a long illness.
Frank Raymond Laubscher, son of Charles and Forestine Dodds Laubscher, was born at the family homestead a mile west of Buchanan July 2, 1881. He lived on the farm until 1903 when he moved to Buchanan with his parents where he lived the remainder of his life. He was a farmer and actively interested in the raising of horses.
He is survived by a brother, John; 2 nieces, Eloise and Marjorie; an aunt, Mrs. L. J. Benda, Iowa City, and an uncle, W. O. Dodds, Edina, Mo.
