Funeral services for Mrs. A. C. Long, wife of the pastor of the First Methodist church, will be held at the church at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, The Rev. C. H. Petersen, the Rev. Carl Linden, the Rev. Lloyd Brockmeyer and the Rev. L. E. Bauman will be in charge. A second service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Grand View church, 8 miles west of Larchwood. Burial will be at Grand View.

Mrs. Long died suddenly Sunday morning at St. Luke's hospital where she had been a patient since Friday. Mrs. Long had been in ill health for several months.

Mrs. Long, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. James J. Davies was born June 3, 1907. She graduated from Morningside college at Sioux City and taught school at Larchwood and at Wagner, S.D.

She was married to the Rev. Alex C. Long Dec. 27, 1933. They celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last winter.

Mrs. Long was a member of the P.E.O., the Order of Eastern Star, the 19th Century club, the American Association of University Women, the Garden club and a Cub Scout den mother.

She is survived by her parents, her husband, a son, Robert Elwood and a brother, the Rev. D. George Davies of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
