Kenneth W. CLements, 64, died Sept. 5 of a heart attack, following a long illness, at the home of a daughter.
The son of David W. and Louisa Jarbo Clements, he was born Dec. 13, 1894 at Clementsville, Ky. He was a resident of Wilton Junction for 4 years and lived near Tipton for 43 years. A World War I veteran, he married Sabedia C. Reed Jan. 13, 1920 in Mechanicsville. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church in Wilton Junction and the Moose Lodge in Tipton. He was a farmer.
Services were held Sept. 9 in St. Mary's church, Wilton Junction with the Rev. Vincent Morrissey officiating. Griffith Funeral Home was in charge, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tipton.
He is survived by his wife and 4 sons, Edward A., Bennett; John H., Baldwin Park, Calif., Kenneth, stationed with the navy in San Diego, Calif., and Richard C., Sacramento, Calif., and five daughters, Mrs. Paul (Mary) House of Oxford Junction, Mrs. Charles (Laurie) Mellows of State Center, Mrs. James (Angella) Techau of Omaha, Nebr., Mrs. Lee (Cecilia) Tisinger and Mrs. Gary (Sabedia) Kean of Wilton Junction; Two brothers, Clarence, Tipton and Leonard, Deerfield, Mich., and 3 sisters, Mrs. Owen Wethington and Mrs. Walt Wethington, Clementsville, Ky., and Mrs. Bertha Wethington, St. Louis, Mo. He has 33 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
