Mrs. Ruth Pownall, 92, a former resident of the Centerdale and West Branch community, died at her home in Pasadena, Calif., Aug. 22 after a long illness.

She was born at Centerdale, April 1, 1867, the daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth Mosher Schooley, and was married May 28, 1894, to Darlington Pownall. After Mr. Pownall died in 1928, Mrs. Pownall moved to California.

She was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include 2 sons, Paul, Cheyenne, Wyo., and Everett, Crown Point, Ind.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Mary Franke, Zion National park, Utah, and Dorothy Pownall, Pasadena, Calif.; 5 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Friday at the West Branch Methodist church with the Rev. L. E. Bauman officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.
