Mrs. Jessie Fields, 83, a native of Cedar county, died Feb. 6 in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Leslie, in Oxford Mills, following a long illness.

Funeral services were held Monday in the Methodist church at Oxford Mills. Burial was in the Smithstown cemetery.

She was born at Massillon Nov. 9, 1875. She married Jessie Fields Aug. 21, 1896. She has always lived in the Oxford Mills community.

Surviving are 6 sons, Clyde, Des Moines, Clifford, Delmar, Jesse Jr., Levi, Dale and Meryl, all of Oxford Junction; 2 daughters, Goldie Fields, Woodworth, and Mrs. Henry Leslie, Oxford Junction; 13 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
