Services were held Sunday at Wilton Junction for James Edward Proctor, 88, who died at 4 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Wilton nursing home after a lingering illness. Burial was in the cemetery at Lime City.

Mr. Proctor was born Jan. 8, 1871, in Bloomington, Ill. He had resided at Fairport prior to moving to Lime City 67 years ago. His marriage to Ammittie Franklin took place Aug. 13, 1890, at Muscatine.

Surviving are his wife; 3 sons, Fred and Thomas, Lime City, and Frank, Moscow; 2 daughters, Mrs. Everett Shotwell and Mrs. Daniel Ford, Tipton; 1 sister, Mrs. Clara Reichert, Muscatine; 27 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
