Robert C. (Bob) Leefers, a native of Tipton and a well known radio personality, died in a Monticello hospital Friday. Funeral services were held in Cedar Rapids Monday.

A member of the staff of WMT in Cedar Rapids for more than 20 years, he was in the theatrical profession before going on radio. He was also a veteran of World War I.

Mr. Leefers was born in Tipton March 11, 1892, the son of John L. and Olive Pierce Leefers. His father was a carpenter.

He is survived by a step-son, Lewis Holtman, San Diego, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Luther Fuhrmeister, Cedar Rapids.
