Carl Burdette Koser, 40, died at 5 p.m. Tuesday at his farm home 10 miles southeast of Solon, following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Anderson & Barker funeral home in West Branch with the Rev. L. E. Bauman in charge. Burial will be in the West Branch cemetery.

Mr. Koser was born Sept. 2, 1918, on a farm northeast of West Branch, the son of Charles and Irene Garwin Koser. He is survived by his parents and a sister, Hazel, at home.
