Mrs. Caroline Miller, 76, of West Branch, died at a nursing home in Iowa City Sunday night after a long illness.

Mrs. Miller was born in Leavenworth, Kan., Nov. 18, 1882, a daughter of Karl and Caroline Korthals, and was married Oct. 4, 1898, to Earl G. Miller. The couple came to West Branch from Kansas in 1912.

Survivors include a son, Dr. Clarence Miller, Bettendorf; six daughters, Mrs. Alice Maurer, Portland, Ore., Mrs. Nora Gosenberg, Iowa City, Mrs. Clara Lightner, West Liberty, Mrs. Lena Gritton, North Liberty, Mrs. Dorothy Stout, Tipton, and Mrs. Edna Wentz, West Branch; 25 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Her husband, two sons and two daughters preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at the Friends church Tuesday with the Rev. Clifford Wolfe officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.
