Funeral services for Arthur Cole, 74, were held Nov. 1 at West Branch with the Rev. L. E. Bauman officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mr. Cole was born at West Branch Dec. 11, 1883, the son of Frank and Anna Bowers Cole, and spent his entire life in West Branch. He was one of 7 children, all of whom, with his parents, preceded him in death.

He was unmarried and lived alone in the house where a neighbor discovered his body lying on the kitchen floor Thursday morning. He had been dead several hours. Death was due to a heart attack.
