Suddenly taken ill, while visiting at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. H. Edens, at 233 Second avenue, Louis A. Foot died here at 1:40 this morning. Old age was the cause of death.

Mr. Foot was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1835, moving to Cedar county in 1852. He is survived by four sons and three daughters, as follows: Will of Mount Vernon; Charles of Ely; Fred and Ed of Tipton; Mrs. Clara Ramsey of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Laura Foot of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. J. H. Edens of Clinton.

The body will be taken to Tipton tomorrow afternoon for burial.
