Funeral services for Mrs. Francis T. (Mary Rose) Mahoney, 42, were held Wednesday morning from St. Mary's church in Tipton with the Rev. Edward Collins officiating.

Mrs. Mahoney died at her home Sunday evening following an illness of several months.

The daughter of John and Auna Novy, she was born Dec. 11, 1915, in Solon. She was married to Francis T. Mahoney Nov. 19, 1941, in Solon.

She is survived by her husband, two children, Terrance and Rita; her parents, 2 brothers, Milo N., Cedar Rapids, and Donald N., Iowa City; and 5 sisters, Mrs. Frank Shimon, Mrs. Alfred Randall, Mrs. Albert Dvorsky, and Mrs. Cyril Stock, all of Solon, and Mrs. David Stock, Iowa City.
