John Stoecker, of Lowden, father of Mrs. V. R. Northrup, died yesterday at Sat. Luke's hospital at Cedar Rapids, where he was taken a few weeks ago for treatment of cancer of the stomach. Interment took place at his home town in Lowden Thursday, relatives from here attending.
