Stella Margaret Marker was born Aug. 29, 1890, at Cedar Bluffs, Ia., the daughter of Kathryn and George Marker. She passed away at her home in Cedar Valley, Oct. 27, 1955, having attained the age of 65 years, 1 month and 27 days.

She was united in marriage to Milton U. Hubler, Nov. 18, 1909. To this union nine children were born: Maynard and Willard of Cedar Valley; Mrs. Genevieve Williams of Mechanicsville; Gilbert and William of Cedar Valley; Kenneth of Lisbon; Mrs. Darlene Wells of Stanwood; Mrs. Helen Walter of Tipton; and Richard of Cedar Valley.

She has been failing in health the past few years but bore her affliction with utmost patience and was never known to complain about a thing. Being an especial lover of flowers she enjoyed caring for them and working out of doors.

Besides the immediate family, she is survived by two sisters, Mahala Hubler, Cedar Rapids; Juliar Bair, Buchanan; and one brother, Norman Marker, Cedar Bluff. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, three sisters and four brothers. Her husband passed away Jan. 20, 1955, after a long illness.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Oct. 29, 1955, at the Sheets & Dahn funeral home with Rev. A. C. Long officiating, and interment in Tipton Masonic cemetery.
