Memorial rites were held last Friday afternoon, Nov. 4 at :30 p.m. at the Tobias funeral home in Dayton, O., for Mr. Ed Roberdee, 86, the Rev. Paul W. Sharp officiating, and interment was made in the Memorial Park cemetery at Dayton.

Mr. Roberdee was a well known resident of Tipton and Cedar county for many years, prior to locating at Dayton, O., about thirty years ago where he resided in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ollie Morris, 604 Nordale ave. Mr. Roberdee passed away at 7:05 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1955, after several months' illness. He was a member of the Oak Street E.U.B. church of Dayton, Ohio.

Surviving are his wife, Laura, of Dayton; three daughters, Mrs. Ollie Morris, Mrs. Edna Kroeger and Mrs. L. F. Brown, all of Dayton; also three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Cowan of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Maude Samuelson of Long Beach, and Mrs. Harriett Beacom, of Long Beach; one brother, C. B. Roberdee, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, the Mrs. Birdie Wingert Roberdee; his son Albert, and a daughter Pearl, all formerly of Tipton. There are also five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
